      Hello,

      I just installed WordPress and the coco theme in the root of my web folder. I also installed Magento Professional in a sub folder (/shop/). When I enable magento in WP (helloconfig > Index), I get the following error on the homepage. I’ve double checked my magento login (UN/PW) and see that both are correct. Any help would be appreciated.

      Warning: SoapClient::SoapClient() [
      soapclient.soapclient]: I/O warning : failed to load external entity “http://www.kialoapaddles.com/shop/api/?wsdl” in /home7/kialoaco/public_html/kialoapaddles_com/wp-content/themes/v1.1/includes/shared/snippets/magento-products.php on line 6

      Could not connect to your magento database.
      Check your settings in admin panel.

      Hello Joshua, we have been investigating this error, and to solve this, a Soap module must be installed in your server.

      We are going to make a documentation for this asap, please allow us the time to do it correctly.

      Thanks for your patience.-

      Hello again.

      Thanks for the reply. I found your documentation on how to install the Fishpig wordpress integration extension. After doing that, I now get this error in the wordpress site:

      array(2) { ["error"]=> string(1) “2″ ["msj"]=> string(14) “Access denied.” }

      Could not connect to your magento database.
      Check your settings in admin panel.

      I’ve double checked that the magento admin login is correct by copying and paste to confirm that I can login with the same UN/PW into magento.

      Any thoughts on that error?

      Thanks, Josh

      One more thing, the admin url is not set as the default. During Magento installation, i set the admin url to: http://www.kialoapaddles.com/shop/adminkialoa2011/

      Here is the shop: http://www.kialoapaddles.com/shop/

      Maybe the change in url is preventing your code from logging into the admin interface??

      Thanks, Josh

      Hello, about Soap, follow this link to configure it: http://www.herongyang.com/Web-Services/SOAP-PHP-Library-Installation.html

      If you have Linux: http://www.wallpaperama.com/forums/how-to-install-php-soap-extension-in-apache-linux-php-server-remove-t1756.html

      If you can’t configure it by yourself, your Hosting Support must do it, you can ask them to install soap in your server.

      Regards.-

      The soap error went away when I installed Fishpig wordpress integration extension as noted in your documentation.

      This is the error that i’m getting now on the wordpress side:

      array(2) { ["error"]=> string(1) “2″ ["msj"]=> string(14) “Access denied.” }

      Could not connect to your magento database.
      Check your settings in admin panel.
