    Hi Andrew!, finally we sorted out.

    The link you sent: http://www.magentocommerce.com/wiki/4_-_themes_and_template_customization/css/unordered_list_work_correctly actually works perfect.

    The problem was in the class of the description. Instead of the css block of code that say to paste in stlyes.css, try this one:

    .product-specs ul li { list-style-type: disc; list-style-position: outside; margin-left: 20px; }
    .short-description ul li { list-style-type: disc; list-style-position: outside; margin-left: 20px; }
    .product-specs ol li { list-style-type: decimal; list-style-position: outside; margin-left: 20px; }
    .short-description ol li { list-style-type: decimal; list-style-position: outside; margin-left: 20px; }
    .product-tabs-content ul li { list-style-type: disc; list-style-position: outside; margin-left: 20px;}
    .product-tabs-content ol li { list-style-type: decimal; list-style-position: outside; margin-left: 20px;}

    Then go to view.phtml, find this line:

    <div class="std"><?php echo $_helper->productAttribute($_product, nl2br($_product->getShortDescription()), 'short_description') ?></div>

    and replace it totally with this one:

    <div class="short-description"><?php echo $_product->getShortDescription() ?></div>

    then go to description.phtml , change the line:

    <?php echo $this->helper('catalog/output')->productAttribute($this->getProduct(), nl2br($this->getProduct()->getDescription()), 'description') ?>

    to this one:

    <?php echo $this->helper('catalog/output')->productAttribute($this->getProduct()->getDescription()), 'description') ?>

    And that's it!, it works just fine in hellomix.
    Let us know if this help you.

    Cheers.-
